Yolanda R. Mack is a native of DeKalb County.
She graduated from Avondale High School, received her BA from Alcorn State University and her law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. After graduating law school, she returned home to Georgia to begin her legal career. Starting as a Public Defender and then as a trial line prosecutor and now a member of the senior leadership team for the largest district attorney’s office in Georgia, Yolanda has represented and fought for the community for nearly 30 years. As a parent and leader in various DeKalb County community organizations, Yolanda has a unique understanding and perspective on the impact of the law and judges. That is why she is running to represent the 750,000+ people who call DeKalb County home, just as she does.
